  • Payment Information: Processed securely via NightsBridge (Hilton Accommodation does not directly process or store credit card data).

  • Communication Data: Records of correspondence via email, WhatsApp, or phone.

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and cookies (see Cookie Policy).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your personal information is used for the following purposes:

  • To confirm, process, and manage bookings.

  • To communicate with you before, during, and after your stay.

  • To comply with South African legal and tax obligations.

  • To protect the safety and security of our guests and property.

  • With your consent, to send promotional offers, newsletters, or marketing updates (you may unsubscribe at any time).

3. Third-Party Processing (NightsBridge & Others)

  • All bookings and payments are securely processed via NightsBridge. NightsBridge may collect and process your personal and payment details under their own Privacy Policy.

  • Hilton Accommodation does not store or have direct access to your credit card or banking details.

  • Other third-party services we may use include:

    • Payment processors (via NightsBridge).

    • WiFi and internet providers.

    • Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • These providers are only given access to the minimum information necessary to perform their services.

4. Sharing of Information

We will not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With NightsBridge to manage bookings and payments.

  • With contractors or service providers where necessary (e.g., housekeeping, maintenance).

  • If required by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Data Retention

  • Personal booking records are retained for as long as necessary to provide accommodation services and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

  • Marketing communications are retained until you opt out or withdraw consent.

  • Payment data is never stored directly by Hilton Accommodation.

  • We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information.

  • NightsBridge uses encryption and PCI-compliant standards for payment processing.

  • While we take every effort to secure your information, we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorised access.

7. Data Breach Response

In the event of a data breach that may compromise your personal information:

  • We will notify affected individuals as soon as reasonably possible.

  • We will notify the Information Regulator (South Africa) as required under POPIA.

8. Your Rights (POPIA & GDPR-Aligned)

  • Request correction of inaccurate data.

  • Request deletion of your personal data where legally permissible.

  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.

  • Lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator if you believe your data is being mishandled.

  • Personal data processed via NightsBridge may be transferred and stored outside South Africa (e.g., servers in other jurisdictions).

  • By booking with us, you consent to such transfers, subject to adequate safeguards.
